Daidõji is a character of Senran Kagura, she is the strongest shinobi of Hanzõ National Academy, the Kouhai of Rin who were her senpai during her time at Hanzõ Academy, the wife of Hansuke Dragneel, the grandmother of Yuuki Kõtetsu, the great-granddaughter of Genji Shimada, the sister-in-law of Fuyu Dragneel, Asuka Shimada and Homura Kurenai.
Appearance[]
Daidõji is atail, muscular woman with blonde hair ("black in her Shinobi transformation") and reddish-brown eyes.
In her normal form she wear an old version of the Hanzõ Academy uniform of color blue
In her shinobi form, She wears a tattered gakuran with a cap and metal epaulets, a rope belt, and a pair of tengu-geta. She wraps her bosom in a sarashi, and her wrists with the bandages typical of open-hand fighters.
Personality[]
Daidōji has a very "Punch first, ask questions while punching" personality. She has a strong sense of justice, she views her old upperclassman and best friend, Rin as more of a rival, rather that a mortal enemy. Even though she lost every match against her, she only strives to try again the next day.
Following her meeting with her futur husband Hansuke Dragneel, Daidõji's personality change completely to a more open, kind and protective woman toward her friends.and family
Background[]
A legendary senior who returns to Hanzō every year during the graduation period. In the past, she was Rin's Kouhai, and the two would spar together regularly. Kiriya-sensei noted that while Daidōji was stronger than Rin, she was unable to beat her senior due to her senpai unyielding nature.
Daidōji swore that she would one day make Rin admit defeat, but the chance never came. Shortly after Rin graduated, it was reported that she died while on a mission. The news devastated Kiriya, but Daidōji somehow knew that Rin was alive somewhere. She now patiently bides her time in anticipation of her final rematch with her senior; the fateful day that will be her true graduation exam.
During her search to find a worthy opponents, she cross paths with her futur husband Hansuke Dragneel as she sense a lot of potential within him, she challenge him into a fight and end up losing to him from that point onward Daidõji has fall in love with Hansuke.
Daidõji wanted Hansuke to teach her his fighting style and powers that he has and Hansuke accepted to train Daidõji to wield his Fire Dragon's powers, however her training was cut short when she learn of Master Hanzõ's kidnapping and when to Hebijo with Hansuke to rescue him.
Powers & Abilities[]
Master Shinobi: Daidõji is a very powerful shinobi, with her skills forged during her time at Hanzõ Academy where she trained with Kiriya-sensei alongside her senpai Rin, however despite her overwhelming powers, she wasn't able to defeat her senpai due to her nature, years later her strength increased more and more and defeated anyone who stand in her way, even overpowering her juniors in a special test of strength, after her two years of training with Hansuke and Rin, she stand at the same level as him and his brother even surpassing her senpai.
Immense Strength: Daidõji possess an overwhelming power that come from her years of training during and after her years at Hanzõ Academy, she is strong enough to take out an entire army of shinobi all by herself and even her juniors.
Enhanced Speed: Daidõji possess an overwhelming raw speed, not at the same level as Hansuke, Fuyu, Asuka and Homura, but she can still avoid enemies attacks and even surprise someone from Rin's caliber.
Immense Durability: Daidõji has proven herself to be extremely durable, as she can emerge unscratched from any kind of situation, however despite this advantage she still can take damages from attacks who are too powerful for her like Hansuke's Hõno jigoku ryū no Tsume.
Shinobi Form[]
Like all Shinobi, Daidõji possess a Shinobi Form, which she use during battle and can unleash her full potential, under this form her hair became black and her outfit consist of a attered gakuran with a cap and metal epaulets, a rope belt, and a pair of tengu-geta. She wraps her bosom in a sarashi, and her wrists with the bandages typical of open-hand fighters.
She also possess several powers under her shinobi form.
- Tenchi Meidō Rasen Kyaku ("Heaven and Earth Rumbling Spiral Leg") One of Daidõji's attacks, she takes a stance before charging right into the attack. She kicks several times with both of her legs before propelling herself into the air with one kick and immediately recoils with another.
- Tenchi Senran Mokō Ken ("Heaven and Earth Flash War Wild Tiger Fist") one of Daidõji's attacks, she brings both hands together before bringing them back and focusing all her energy into one palm strike. She then releases a devastating wave of energy in the shape of an open mouthed tiger, pushing away any and all enemies in its path.
- Tenchi Raijin Ryū Gyoku Ken ("Heaven and Earth Thunder God Dragon Ball Fist") Daidõji's ultimate attack and her most dangerous one, she takes a stance before she lunges forward at her foes and beats them into a corner with a barrage of punches and kicks. Once cornered, she knocks them into the air and begins to viciously punch them; increasing in speed and power as the attack progresses. Finishing the move off with a powerful punch to the ground, causing stalagmite shaped rocks to erupt from underneath.
- Kyūkyoku no seirei-kyū ("Ultimate Spirit Sphere") An attack that Daidõji use while in the air, she gather all of her shinobi energy that create a giant spirit sphere that she throw at her enemies, the damages caused by this attack are high.
